Basic Instructions:

Create a screen name for your message. Keep it under 12 characters! Just text:

Here are the detailed instructions on how to interact with viewers on havoc TV.

Come up with a screen name. Make sure it is 12 characters or less!

To register your screen name:

Text “REG”, then a space, then your screen name

Example:
REG johnnyboy
REG William314
REG SuperChick

And send it to 42862 (HAVOC).

You will receive a return message with the following confirmation:

“Thx! Ur havoc screenname is {your screenname here}! Start Chatting n Voting! Msg&data rates may apply. HELP 4help, STOP 2quit. havoc.tv/101”

If your screenname is already taken or if you are already registered, you will receive a return message with the following confirmation:

“Thx! Ur updated havocTV nick is {your screenname here}. Keep Chatting n Voting! Msg&data rates may apply. HELP 4help, STOP 2quit. havoc.tv/101”

The name assigned to you may change for a variety of reasons. If there is a similar name (e.g. John), then you will be assigned a name like John78. Names will also be filtered/edited later depending on the name you choose. Names that are vulgar or inappropriate for TV display will be changed or removed, and a numeric name will be assigned. Havoc on The 101 reserves the right to edit / change the names selected / assigned at any time.

SENDING CHAT MESSAGES

Now that you have your screen name registered, you are ready to start sending in your CHAT messages. When you send in a text, your message will appear on live TV!

To send a chat:

Text “C”, then a space, then your “message.”
Remember to keep your message under 160 characters (SMS limit),
or it will be truncated.

Examples:
C Hey wassap everybody?
C That video was sick!

And send it to 42862 (HAVOC).

It’s that easy!!

You will receive a return message with the following information:

“Thx! Look 4 ur msg on TV. Msg&data rates may apply. HELP 4help, STOP 2quit. havoc.tv/101. Find your ULTIMATE WAVE at havoc.tv/uw”

Please keep your messages fit for a general audience -- do NOT post phone numbers or email addresses, make drug references, or use curse words. Messages sent will be queued for approval and editing. Moderators will approve, disapprove, or edit your message so that the message will be appropriate for display on TV. Havoc on The 101 reserves the right to disallow or edit any content it may receive. Furthermore, repetitive violators will be banned permanently from the system.

Should we receive too many messages to be screened over the course of a single show, moderators will post messages warning viewers to stop texting, to ensure that no one's message is left out. This will usually be near the end of the program. Be aware that Havoc on The 101 will not be able to guarantee that your message will appear on TV if you send your TV message before or after these notices.

VOTING FOR VIDEOS

While you are chatting, you can also VOTE for your favorite videos to move it up in the playlist!!

To vote for a video:

Text “V”, then a space, then the 4 digit video code that corresponds with the video you want to watch.

Examples:
V 0012
V 3405

and send it to 42862 (HAVOC).

You will receive a return message with the following information:

“Start the Party, Rule the Party -DJ HERO- Available now! www.DJHero.com Thx 4 ur havocTV Video vote! Msg&data rates may apply. STOP2quit. havoc.tv/101”

Be sure to use a video code that corresponds with a video currently on the list for the show you are watching.

Remember, you can vote for a video as many times as you like.

Every few minutes, a list of the current Top-10 most voted-for videos and their respective codes will appear in the chat message column on the left side of the screen. Additionally, a Top-3 list will appear at the bottom of the screen at regular intervals. The next video to be played will be the one with the current highest vote.

If you do not provide a video code, then your vote will be given to the current video being played.

GET AN AVATAR

Personalize your Chat messages with an Avatar that appears next to your screen name each time your message appears on TV.

STOPPING THE SERVICE / OPTING OUT

You can opt out of the Havoc Chat service at any time. a confirmation message will be sent to you stating that you have discontinued the service and no further charges will be made for the service.

To terminate service:
